Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl said that Sabitzer is a "perfect fit" for the club and that he will "strengthen us both defensively and offensively." Sabitzer himself said that he is "excited to join Dortmund" and that he is "looking forward to the challenges ahead."
Sabitzer is Dortmund's third signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Ramy Bensebaini and Felix Nmecha. He is expected to play a key role in the club's quest to challenge Bayern Munich for the Bundesliga title next season.
Here are some of Sabitzer's key attributes:
- He is a versatile midfielder who can play in a variety of positions.
- He is a good passer and dribbler, and he has a powerful shot.
- He is also a good defender, and he is capable of winning the ball back in midfield.
Sabitzer's arrival is a major coup for Dortmund, and he is sure to be a key player for the club in the coming years.
